While interning at Markay Media, I worked on the upcoming Primetime PBS Series “Somewhere South,” featuring Chef Vivian Howard (A Chef’s Life). In addition to PA-ing shoots, I edited two versions of the series trailer, the first of which can be seen below. The edit was finalized by Tom Vickers. Color/sound mixing by Trailblazer Studio.
Brooke Maynard Legal Film

On the evening of August 2nd 2018, the Durham Police Department engaged in a police pursuit, which ended in the tragic death of an innocent bystander: a twenty-four year-old mother named Brooke Maynard.
While working for Markay Media, I was the project lead and editor of a film which was commissioned by the lawyers for the Maynard Estate. Working along side Emmy-Award-winning filmmaker Cynthia Hill, I helped craft interview questions for family members as well as police experts. I went through hours of police body cams which showed both the chase and aftermath. The forty-five minute damages and liability film is private and cannot be shared as the case is ongoing.
